About Event

The Oceans cover 71% of the Earth's surface and is one of the least explored Frontiers. The oceans are integral to the climate regulation, nutrient production, oil retrieval, and transportation. Water Systems are of vital importance to the life on earth and Commerce. For these reasons, there is a significant interest in monitoring the aquatic environments for Scientific, Environmental, Commercial, Safety and Military purposes.
The Computing is unavoidably fabricated in every walk of life to facilitate the Human kind. Underwater Networks is one of the emerging fields to serve the world with its technological nuances. The object is to explore the significant advances and modalities of this field so as to help the Academic Community. The resultant effect is the conduct of the second edition of the FDP on Underwater Communications with a clear prediction of research activities and the highlights of the present Scenario. The Current Researches are pooled in the Campus for a healthy interaction. The topics include : Underwater Networking and Systems Architecture. Underwater Acoustic Modeling and Signal Processing. Unmanned Underwater Vehicles. Networked Underwater Robotics and Systems. Coordinated Energy Harvesting Systems. Energy-Efficient Algorithms, and Protocol Designs for Underwater Networks. Data Aggregation Systems from the Ocean. Marine Pollution & Environmental Issues of the Ocean & Coastal Regions. Modeling, Simulation, and Test beds for Underwater Systems and Platforms. Application requirements for Underwater Networks, Signals/Image Processing.
